Chasing Bubbles

Poor Laura's been down with hand, foot and mouth disease! She's been home for a number of days and was much better by last Sunday. Here she's having fun chasing bubbles with her che-che who's back from spending the day with ku-ma.

Family Portrait

I love family portraits! It's quite a lot of effort, given everyone's hectic schedule, so it's good to catch the kids when they're young and don't have too many appointments of their own, yet *-)

Here are some lovelies taken mid-last year, and I've only just seen them!

Laura takes her first dip

Laura turned one on 8 Aug and is now big enough for the pool! It was quite an event for the family, who got ready with photographer in tow, but Laura was not to be nonplussed... looks like there's one cool cucumber in the family :)

Laura is over 7 months and starting on semi solid food, and she really seems to enjoy her makan!

Food break: mum and daughter shares a telegenic moment.

Hannah and Laura at the pediatrician's. Hannah has a little chip on her front tooth but hates the dentist, think her milk tooth's doomed.

The girls with grandparents at about the same age (erm, 7 - 8 mths).

My birthday party

I found out today that every 10 years, your birthday would fall on the same day of the week that you were born, and that I was born on a Sunday. Day of rest :)

It turned out to be a pretty active Sunday though, and I did two things I'd not done before...

(1) I enjoyed a three-generation birthday party. Hannah loves gadgets at this age, and handphones are probably her fave. Here she's trying out the digital camera. This one of me was taken by her, quite an improvement from her efforts last year huh?

(2) I watched a live rugby game. It started off as a hot afternoon of eye candy and pop music, men grabbing each other. Then, light-headed girls began 'camera-whoring' between games, drunks made rude remarks to a geeky girl beer-seller, patriotic supporters boo-ed the rivals as competition grew intense... not much of sportsmanship spotted off the field after that.

Gadget baby

Hannah's artistic shot of yeema & laura (Dec 05). Urgh, just look at those eye bags, that's what child-caring does to you, and child-bearing = infinite dark rings & strech marks :P

Ho, this is what Auntie Armida looks like from Hannah's point of view. Auntie Armida joined the W family of care-givers couple of months before Laura was born last Aug. She's really cool with the kids :)
